The territory

Randazzo, a medieval town once divided into three historic quarters, is embraced by three extraordinary natural parks: Etna, Nebrodi, and Alcantara—each easily explored through a variety of guided excursions.
Not to be missed:
– The Argimusco Megaliths
– The Gurne dell’Alcantara
– Parco Sciarone

The dark lava-stone alleyways of the old town, winding through the ancient districts, offer endless discoveries: The House of Music, the arched alleyway, Agony Street, the former castle-prison, the city hall cloister, and the richly decorated façades of its many churches.

This is the land of Nerello and Carricante, where ancient vines grow on volcanic soil. A tasting in one of the many Etna DOC wineries is an unforgettable journey through flavour and tradition.

Nearby Taormina,Catania, Siracusa and the Ionian and Tyrrhenian coasts offer a total immersion in Sicilian culture, colours and tradition.

Equally unforgettable are the flavours of the island, which can be discovered by visiting local artisanal producers — from cheese factories and bakeries to pastry shops and vibrant wine cellars.

A few tidbits: Argimusco megaliths, Alcantara gurne, Sciarone Park.
